David Bat

David Bat is President of
Welling & Company. Mr. Bat brings over 20 years of extensive energy experience
in the upstream oil and gas, downstream fuels and lubricants and power, natural
gas, alternative energy and global climate change initiatives. Mr. Bat began
his career as a geologist with Chevron and later held executive and general
management roles with Chevron Corporation, where he created Chevron Energy
Solutions and most recently at Constellation Energy where he led the growth of
the retail business in Texas to become the 2nd largest provider in
the state.
Mr. Bat received his Bachelor
of Science degree in Geology from the University of Oklahoma, his Master of
Science degree in Geology from Oklahoma State University and his Masters in
Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from the University of New
Orleans.
Mr. Bat is married with three
children and has many interests including golf, coaching his children’s sports
teams and active involvement with his church and school.
